Comrades! I just want to thank whoever slid that song into the show this week…”Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition” will be stuck in my head for the next month or two. And no, this isn’t a drunk post.

There’s been talk about “What if the balloon doesn’t go up?” in a couple RFN’s lately. While I agree there will never be a total collapse in a “Poof! No more federal government! We can all go live in a survival bunker in the woods in peace!” sort of way, isn’t the Butler Plan predicated upon the idea that the United States will eventually stabilize itself at such a low level it will become weak enough to be torn apart by the different racial groups therein?

From “Dear White American” on this website:
“It is now fairly clear that at some point in the future, the United States of America will cease to exist as a viable political, economic, and social entity. It is a historical truth that nothing lasts forever, and the USA will not last forever either. When that collapse occurs, the many races and vested interest groups that inhabit the North American continent will begin to rip and tear at whatever’s left of the United States, like vultures on a carcass. Bluntly put, we need to make sure that Whites get their piece of the carcass.”

Of course, the same page mentions a “member magazine” – presumably the out of print Northwest Observer – so perhaps the NF’s overall strategy is being updated? Or is this a miscommunication about what “collapse” means, brought on by those who hope for the federal government to just up and vanish after a sudden rapture, thereby absolving them of the responsibility to physically uphold the 14 words? I’m not talking about that kind of “collapse” obviously.

Great question! Short answer: The “when the balloon goes up” thing has always referred to a mythic time when the federal monkey is magically off our backs. To be fair to the bunch obsessed with this, they usually do mean as a result of some sort of financial collapse.

To the wider issue of a “viable political, economic, and social entity,” such an entity can become non-viable while still existing for quite some time. Every one of us knows what the death of a multiracial empire looks like even while we’re living through it. Any agreement at all with this observation implies agreement with the observation that such an empire can be dying without being dead.
