    Hi everyone. I haven’t been here for a while. Great to be back.

    Regarding Andy’s request at the end for what’s hip in the world of social media, I’m afraid I don’t have any good news. It really depends on what you want to use the internet for. Is it to reach racially aware whites, convert new ones or communicate among ourselves?

    Here’s a post mortum on the state of things:
    8chan’s /pol/ was previously the bastion for highly intelligent, informed, cream of the crop National Socialists and white nationalists (hereafter referred to as “/ourguys/”), but a combination of dedicated shilling campaigns and lower IQ traffic being driven to the board has all but ruined it. The smarter Anons fled and left behind the schizophrenics, shills, and just the typical “cuckoo for cocoa puffs” GUBU magnets. Occasionally the original Anons check back in but the place is no longer the glorious archive and centre for debate it once was. Now there’s just pointless argument threads filled with morons screaming at each other and accomplishing nothing. If one of /ourguys/ is online on a particular day, you might be able to acquire advanced resources like pdfs of rare books, helpful links or technical expertise, but it’s hit or miss.

    4chan’s /pol/ (the original board the smarter Anons fled from to 8chan when censorship and moderation began to curtail more advanced National Socialist and racial discussions) seems like the best option for reaching /ourguys/ just because it has the biggest numbers. The vast majority of those numbers are shills, trolls, liberals and GUBU magnets, but the sheer size of the site traffic means you get to interact with /ourguys/ more frequently than 8ch.

    Gab.ai is still up. I don’t entirely trust it (some people claim to have found Israeli connections among the founders and technical staff) but for now it’s still up and there doesn’t seem to be any overt censorship. It’s good for announcements and finding “our guys” who have made a name for themselves (i.e. asking Xurious or CyberN4zi for backup archives of the music they produced after Youtube shoahed everything). There seems to be moderate traffic and numbers, and moderate success reaching out to other /ourguys/.
    So far, so good.

    There was a decentralized alternative to twitter called Mastodon for a while, but there was a bit of drama surrounding it. Long story short, it was started by a sniveling Liberal that got a bunch of computer nerds to do all the coding for him. But when /ourguys/ started migrating to Mastodon to escape the bannings, shadowbannings, censorship and sheer numbers of screeching liberals on Twitter the so-called creator started implementing more and more self destructive changes to try and get rid of all those evil mean racists. Mastodon is now a hollow shell that has been abandoned by most of its users.
    There is an alternative called Plemora which is technically superior, but not many people know about it.

    Riot.im (built on the federated Matrix protocol) is a bit of a weird duck. It’s “decentralized” which introduces a lot of complexity to the equation. Suffice it to say there’s no central place to go, you have to have a specific server to visit. The experience is similar to the chatrooms of old. A lot of groups like The New Awakening use Riot, but not many people know it’s scarcely and improvement over IRC chatrooms when it comes to privacy. By its very nature, metadata (who you’re talking to, where you’re coming from and when) is shared openly all over the network. The strength of Riot is it’s being built to “tie everything together” so someday you could have IRC, Slack, Twitter, Skype and Text Messages all feeding into a Riot chat that is shared among all your friends, with no need for a central server. Technically interesting and impressive, but not necessarily helpful for reaching large numbers of /ourguys/, this falls more under the “communication among ourselves” category.

    The entire internet is in a bit of a crisis over “where to go?” Part of it comes from the censorship and well poisoning of all the old hotspots, part of it comes from /ourguys/ abandoning the old hotspots. It really feels like all of /ourguys/ have just up and left from the internet. I myself have done so because I’m working on getting fit and improving my personal life, my buddy has done so because he’s busy getting married and starting a business. So I like to think that it’s a positive development, but for the moment “reaching out to /ourguys/” is going to be difficult. There are multiple decentralized/federated image boards and social media sites being developed right now, but it’s all being done in the spare time of a limited group of coders, and mass adoption is a whole other matter. So new sites and social media alternatives beyond the reach of ZOG may be on the way in a year or three, but currently there’s a dearth of viable social media alternatives.

    Apologies for the War And Peace length of posting. I can post more about secure communications among ourselves if that’s more in line with Andy’s question, but you can sum it up as “Tor, VeraCrypt, PGP. Assume everything you say is watched, but the people watching won’t know who you are unless you identify yourself. Arrange face-to-face meetings for more personal details.”
    Any criticism from the more professional technical staff is welcome, I don’t do Infosec or tech support as a job, I just taught myself the basics for fun and I absorb the information and advice from technical people way smarter than me online.
    Take care.

    Thanks, Woodsman, that is an excellent and thorough synopsis of the current state of things, and very useful for all of us. Appreciate your report on it.

    We are doing some good things in real life here and need approx. 9 more people who live in Montana. Please ask Andy to pass on my info.

    @Snow White I am in Montana. I have no contacts here. I think my email should be available to Andy or another comrade and hopefully someone can put us in touch. I am usually somewhat busy, but will make time for the right cause.
    @Andy feel free to pass my email on to Snow White.

    @Comrade Jason
    Happy to help! A further addendum to my report that kept slipping my mind throughout the week: Voat.co is similar to 4chan. It’s basically a more reddit version of 4chan (Voat spawned as a censorship free alternative to reddit, but quickly became a place where /ourguys/ post news and spam “gay nigger jews did 9/11”), with similar content and users, although it seems to be more news focused than discussion oriented. I heard there used to be a significant population of fanatical Trump-supporting baby boomers who all thought that Q was going to save Amurrica any day now, but as the Q idiocy has died down so have those people. Apparently /ourguys/ helped wake a lot of white nationalists up by doing the same things they did on imageboards – spreading demographic statistics, scientific studies, infographics made on 4/8chan and quotes from forbidden books. Shame I missed that chapter in the site’s development. Nowadays it’s just the same lack of activity mixed with nihilistic shitposting and news articles that you see all over the last remaining bastions for /ourdiscussion/. It is what it is.
