Radio Free Northwest – February 16th 2012
In this podcast HAC answers some e-mail questions, Axis Sally talks about stupid bureaucracy, and the gang talk about stolen glaciers and queers in the movies, and a comrade reads the opening to The Hill of the Ravens.

OMFG!!! The “Starfleet Simian” story reminded me of this YouTube video, a classic that’ll have you ROFL, produced by kikes and one of the commentators is an obvious yid, but it’s still some damn funny video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6xJzAYYrX8 “The Old Negro Space Program”

Well, I must disagree with you brer Harold. Your writing has just been proven to be excellent listening. I thoroughly enjoyed the reading by the comrade from Mississippi and I heartily encourage him to keep on. Is this because I’m on the road about 6 hours a day and have glaucoma to boot? That’s half of it. The other half is 1) You’re a fine story teller HAC and 2) This young man knows how to read aloud. If he ever decides (with your permission of course) to turn this into a money maker for the NF, I’ll be buying multiple copies of every audio book create by him. That’s a promise!

I really enjoyed the Jerry Garcia folk music.

Well Thats High Praise, Gustav! Thanks, but i’d had no plans to charge money. I am planning to finish The Hill of the Ravens before the end of the month, its slow going work. The chapters following are all about 2 hours of recording time. So i have to record 1 hour then stop, my throat isn’t trained for long talking. Its all up to the Old Man of course, but we’ll see how much free time i’ll have after starting my new job. If i’ve got enough i’ll do A distant thunder and go from there. BTW, its Louisiana, not missisippi. Take care.
Lyn
The reading was great! I already listen to it 3 times. Everytime I started to listen I always listened to the end. Very captivating voice and story!
I can’t wait until it becomes available as mp3, so it can be uploaded to youtube and every other media site and its links spammed in every forum, and given to friends and family as presents in in cd/mp3 players format, which they can listen to on the way to work/school/breaks etc.
When can we hope for further releases?

I really enjoyed the audio reading of HoR.
I’d voice an NWQ audiobook myself, but i have a Scottish accent!

I enjoyed this weeks music, especially the piano tune, Floyd Cramer could have made a C&W hit with that song.
I disagree with you about you making audio books. I don’t think it would be vain or pretentious at all. You have created a good and worthy work that you have every reason to be proud of. Pierce did it with his book. You are a good enough speaker, thousands of people listen to your audio productions already. I understand you have little time but if that ever changes it is something I would like to hear before your time is over.

Sorry about confusing your state Sidney. You, like me, missed getting the Deep South drawl (my excuse is being bred & buttered in Florida by a Northern {Copperhead} mama).
Comrade let me know if I can help with this project in any way. Like Lyn I plan to get these books-on-CD to every one of my kith & kin.
I wasn’t suggesting that you planned to charge for them, but I do think they could become a real good source of revenue for the NF.
I’m delighted that (given the go ahead) you plan to continue.

HAC should not read his own books.. he should get someone with a powerful presence, studied voice and excellent reading skills to read them

If memory serves me glacial ice is blue and flexible due to pressure forcing the air out of it or something to that effect.

Audio books are always a good idea… and while I appreciate the comrade’s efforts, they need a more distinctive and/or theatrical voice to do them justice… even Harold’s voice would be an improvement.
JNH
But what we TRULY need is for some talented comrade and/or group of comrades to do graphic novel renditions… that’s the avenue by which you grab the youth of this nation… assuming, of course, some Mel Gibson type won’t come to the fore and make actual motion pictures. (sigh)

Another superb podcast. Is Axis Sally married or involved?
