For any kind of serious financial support, you’d need to provide a comprehensive economic solution (for the future Northwest nation) that won’t leave the type of people you require funding from worse off, and if fact could even leave them better off.
All about the carrot and the stick I suppose.

Not only that, but without a serious, detailed and viable economic plan, no one above average intelligence will take a group running in the political race seriously.
The same goes for the law, especially commercial and contract. I recommend people to look into the notion of the ‘freeman’. Seek out Mary Elizabeth: Croft at spiritualeconomicsnow.net, and follow the paper trail from there.
I think if the NwF is marketed and promoted in a ruthless, business like manner, this may make it visible to the possible future financial backers required.
Regarding publicity stunts, I am not American, so I am at a distance, but I never hear anything about NwF publicity stunts. How about a giant banner draped over a bridge crossing an uber-busy freeway at rush hour? Or tri-colour flags over the same? Something like that could well end up on the news. These types of ‘publicity stunts’ are relatively cheap and require little manpower. All it requires is a little guile and a couple of testicles.

Harold Convigton is actually protected by the KGB. They are interested in the NWF in order to strike USA and Russia becomes no1 super power.
When the time comes the KGB agents will deliver the weapon stashes to the volunteers that will come with the gift of an undercover Spetsnaz unit that will do all the work. So you people don’t need to move to the Northwest, Holy Russia will do all the work.
Actually the undercover fights have already begun. A perimeter arround Harold’s house has been set up by KGB in which CIA is actually trying to pass every night. There is a massive silencer party in the night that Harold does not even imagine!
In the morning there are casualities from both sides, an auxilary government garbage truck passes to gather the bodies.
